Set up right.

With the power disconnected, check each plug-in connection from the sign through the dimmer/controller to the power supply. Reconnect the power supply to a working outlet, check its indicator light if fitted, and turn on any inline switch. Then press ON or I on the matching remote and increase the brightness. If the sign still stays dark, send us photos of the connections and power-supply label.

Check the battery type and polarity marked inside your remote’s battery compartment. Remove any battery isolation tab if fitted and try fresh batteries of the specified type. Confirm you are following the guide for your remote. For the rectangular RGB remote, select the correct zone first. If it still does not respond, send us a photo of both the remote and controller so we can give you the correct next step.

On the rectangular RGB remote, the numbered buttons select individual sections of a multi-zone sign. Select the zone you want to change before choosing a colour, brightness or effect. Your sign may use fewer than four zones. If a section remains unlit, disconnect the power before checking its plug-in connection.

First check whether a dynamic mode is selected. On the rectangular RGB remote, press R, G, B or W for a steady colour. On the white single-colour remote, press a brightness percentage button. For the black oval RGB remote, select a static mode and choose a colour on the ring. If unexpected flickering continues, unplug the sign and contact support.

If you have the white single-colour remote, check whether a timer was selected. Its 5, 10, 30 and 60 buttons are timed settings in minutes. If shut-offs continue without a timer, stop using the sign and contact support with photos of the power supply and controller.

Controllers can vary between orders. Do not use a pairing or reset sequence for a different model. Email us a photo of your remote, controller and power-supply label, along with your order number, and we will help identify the right instructions.
